Summer intern at KONGSBERG, Jun-Aug 2026, in an eight-person team developing an unmanned ground vehicle. Built the operator panel (ICS) in C++/Qt with native video, and the panel-to-vehicle link: a small curated API over a peer-to-peer message bus with automatic discovery, deny-by-default permissions, control arbitration and a remote stop that can never clear a physical one.
BSc thesis delivered spring 2026: built a modular, configurable synthetic test environment in NVIDIA Isaac Sim for the Lone Wolf UGV, with consistent ROS 2 interfaces (/clock, TF, topics), repeatable scenario execution, and closed-loop testing that reduced dependency on physical hardware. Team of four.
Full-stack web app for building and running digital signage/public screens with a stable screen player, extendable content types, and access control. Built with React/Vite and Supabase (auth/DB), structured around a clean domain model so new widgets can be added without rewriting the player.
Refreshed personal site with portfolio, small tools, and analytics. Built in React/Vite with Supabase for authentication and stats, focused on fast navigation and easy content expansion.
Self-hosted lab on a Pi 5 with Docker Compose, reverse proxying, and monitoring. Runs media/network services and doubles as a sandbox for infrastructure, automation, and ops.
Water-tank rig with sensors, controllers, and simulation for tuning before physical deployment. Implemented discrete PID/PI-D in PLC (Structured Text) with tracking/anti-windup, derivative filtering, and lead-lag feedforward; built a closed loop with PLC + Simulink via OPC and modelling in MATLAB.
M.Sc. student in Cybernetics and Robotics at NTNU, with a completed B.Sc. in Automation and Intelligent Systems. I work with robotics, autonomy, and control, with hands-on experience from ROS 2 systems, simulation in NVIDIA Isaac Sim, and industrial software development during my internship at KONGSBERG.
In my free time, I am involved in student organizations, among them Marinor NTNU, where I work on the autonomy stack for an autonomous surface vessel. I also spend time on personal projects such as building a home-lab and smart home setup, various coding projects, 3D printing and programming microcontrollers like the ESP family.
